Blueberry Coiled Fabric Basket

Here is my first coiled fabric basket. It measures 8 inches across the top and is 3 inches high. I used the same blueberry fabric as the coasters. For the handles, I looped the coils as I was sewing and then afterwards secured them by hand. Embroidery scissors were just the right tool to use to snip any loose threads after completing the basket.

WOW, that is BEAUTIFUL!!!! What an awesome basket! I would love to buy a few of those. :) I cannot wait until you get more made and list them, consider them sold. ;)

Take care. :)

These baskets are great. I started making them myself in January. I have already sold four of them and had fun creating my granddaughter's flower girl basket for my son's wedding in September. I also created their card basket for the gift table. I did lots of sculpting with the coiled rope and extra decorating with beads makes each basket unique.
